VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Services and Training – 2017

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax return preparation for people who need tax help but can’t afford it.
Those with low-to-moderate incomes (generally $54,000 and below), seniors, people with disabilities and those with limited English skills usually qualify for this service. AAHC will be offering FREE tax preparation services to the general public starting in February 2017.

FREE training and certification begins in November, so sign up now!

  • Learn to prepare and understand taxes. Free IRS tax law training and materials.
  • Build your resume and network.
  • Volunteer hours are flexible, the average being 3-5 hours per week.
  • Become part of a program that has helped people file tax returns at no charge for more than four decades.
