FREE Foreclosure Prevention Assistance and Counseling

How to Request One-on-One Counseling: By appointment only

The first step in AAHC’s foreclosure prevention assistance process, for homeowners who are in default/imminent default on their mortgage or who are currently facing foreclosure, is to call us.

To set up a counseling session and receive assistance, you must complete and send back the required documents prior to your counseling session. To download the counseling application and the document checklist, click on the “Download” button below.

It is imperative that you print, complete, sign, and send them back to AAHC before your scheduled appointment with your counselor. Your counselor needs at least one day to review, understand, analyze and organize your case in order to best assess your situation. In addition, to better understand your finances, we must pull your tri-merge credit reports and scores; which is a soft pull and therefore won’t affect your scores. We transfer two small third party fees to you; credit reports ($20-$40) and making copies, printing and faxing documents (onetime fee of $20). There are no other hidden fees.
